Having worked in Auckland for design focused practices,

I understand the New Zealand landscape and climate. This experience enables me to take each client's design brief and realise it in a unique architectural solution.
 

Sustainability is a key component of Pinfold Architects.

 

I became a LEED AP professional with the Canadian Green Building Council while working in Vancouver.

 

Often I collaborate with other designers, and I have a strong belief that a good design and construction team creates the best results. I enjoy the challenge of leading a design team, which often includes structural and service engineers, engaging with clever suppliers and manufacturers and learning of innovations in building.

Interior Architecture

Pinfold Architects has  focused half of our practice on Interior Architecture.

​

I have been lucky enough to learn and collaborate with interior designer Timmy Pinfold since 2011.

​

Services additional to a usual architectural scope include: 

+ A full lighting plan, including help in selection of fittings

+ Furniture layout plans, recommendations on hard and soft furnishings including customized soft furnishings

+ Window treatments

+ Comprehensive kitchen, bathroom and utility area designs including selection of fixtures and finishes

+ Colour consultations, including paint and wallpaper schedules and selections

+ Final touches - art works selected and arranged
